Last night Cade was experiencing a "worst day ever" moment (not untypical for him) - according to him....

1. Addy ruined his morning by something she said
2. At school "people" were getting in his business
3. Mrs Wright yelled at him
4. (side note: StarBase was all day and that was good)
5. Something happened at Ms Eva's
6. I didn't have anything good for dinner
7. and he had to spar Maddie in karate (worst thing ever)

As he crawled into bed and I told him to try and think about something positive he said "hmph" and asked me to read his nightly devotional.  Low and behold God had a message for him!!  The message was about finding Joy.  Handing your worries, concerns, troubles, etc to God and finding Joy!!

I finished reading and decided not to say a word besides "I love you - goodnight".  As I was approaching the door Cade said "He did it again, just what I needed, right?"  I smiled and said "He has a way of doing that - say your prayers and sleep tight".

Love these moments when it comes together for him and he really SEES God's power and voice.  Don't ever stop hearing Cade!!!  And as the years go on, I pray you have many less "worst days ever".
